Kees de Vey Mestdagh, Associate Professor of Law&ICT, is founder and manager of the Centre for Law & ICT, and member of the executive board of the department of Legal Theory. He initiated and implemented the Bachelors and Mastersprogrammes in Law and ICT at the  University  of  Groningen in cooperation with Jaap Dijkstra. His research is focused at Internet Governance (the intersection of institutions, global information and communication technologies, and governance), Privacy and Intelligent Agents and Legal Knowledge Based Systems. Since september 1st, 2006 he is also a Lector of Legal Knowledge Management at the Institutes for Legal Education of the Academy and University of Amsterdam.
